Fine Repair Mortar is a thick surface repair mortar based on cement, with large-grain fillers and chemical additives and powdered polymers that increase product stability and facilitate processing.
APPLICATIONS: Used in restoration and renovation work, for repairing concrete and exposed concrete elements, for repairing facade, ceiling and wall plasters, and as a repair and filler material under ceramic, granite and special coating materials.
APPLICATION: The application surface should be cleaned and prepared by removing all dust, dirt, moisture, etc. Mix 25 kg of Repair Mortar with 5.5 – 6 liters of water using a low-speed mixer until it reaches a paste consistency. After 5 minutes, mix the mortar again until ready and apply to the surfaces to be repaired. For thicknesses exceeding 10 mm, it is recommended to use joint tape, mesh or wire mesh.
SURFACE PREPARATION AND RECOMMENDATIONS:
– The surface to be applied must be free of dust, paint, dirt, etc., which prevent adhesion.
– If there are cracks in the application area, the 10 mm gap can be sealed with joint tape before application. It provides high adhesion even when used without primer.
– Since it is a cement-based material, hand protection is necessary. Gloves should be used.
PACKAGING AND STORAGE: Shelf life is 10 months in 25 kg kraft bags in a dry, cool environment.
